ESTIMATED Timeline

• 7:00am Amber & Coach Proko will be setting up
• 7:15am coaches arrival
• 7:30am families arrive (at the latest) -- I think Mrs Coach Proko will be checking swimmers in to the right of the front of the building by the palm trees (on the way to Canopy City -- see diagram on website home). We had discussed this for Dual Meets this year -- not sure if we're implementing it this weekend or not.
• Mark you swimmer(s) from heat sheet / Swimtopia app
• Set up canopies, chairs, etc. while kids are warming up
• 7:45-8:15am warm-ups: meet in the bleachers & be ready to get in the water at 7:45am
• 8:00am Timers Mtg led by Ref Noah Dyer: 1st & 2nd shift volunteers meet in the hallway near the locker rooms - brief explanation & Q&A. Check in with whoever has the volunteer sign in sheet. Clipboards, stopwatches, pens, & 1st shift lane assignments will be given out.
• ~8:15am Officials Mtg to follow timer's mtg: 1st & 2nd shift volunteers meet on deck by computer table (led by Noah)
• ~8:15am Computer & Runner: 1st & 2nd shift volunteers check in with Meet Manager Amber near ready benches
• ~8:15am Ready bench: 1st & 2nd shift volunteers meet @ ready bench (outside exit on block-end of pool). Check in with Meet Manager Amber
• 8:30am Meet starts (when shift 1 volunteers are in place; National Anthem)
• Event 41: shift 2 volunteering starts
• (this will be a fast meet - done by 11:30am)

1. Events by Athlete -- fastest way to find out what your swimmer is signed up for. Please double check it. For those that signed up for the longer Free or for IM, I deleted those entries. We only swim the 4 major strokes for Timed Trials. Yes, you will be able to enter those 2 events at dual meets (I'll estimate a time based on Timed Trials & enter it in the system).
2. Timed Trial Combined -- this is your heat sheet. I've only combined 2 events. Lena is going to whoop up on the boys in #61 & #62 combined 8&U 25yd Butterfly.

New this year: We will have an added event. #1 mixed Big Kid 25yd Freestyle Example. We will start the meet at 8:30am with some volunTOLD veteran swimmers giving an example of how to line up from ready bench & how to start of the blocks with the electronic starter. If you were at practice Thursday, it will be just like that. It gives new swimmers the ability to see what they will be doing before doing it. Hearing the electronic starter go off for the first time is a little daunting, especially since our first REAL event is the 6&U age group.
