    Dolphins post-week2 update

Reminders for everyone's safety. I want to reiterate this before it is brought up to me by management:

    • Please do not leave swimmers unsupervised.
    • No horseplay or running in the hallways.
    • The BBAC is not staffed to watch the kids and Dolphins coaching staff are coaching.
    • Locker room renovation is scheduled to be complete mid-June. Until then, we only have access to the luxury trailer of 3 toilets.
    • No food. Food brings critters….

    Also:

    • Swim caps are on order. When they come in, I'll announce it.
    • We are still on 2-day-a-week practice clinics. Practices open to everyday availability after the Timed Trials on Apr 27.
    • TUESDAYS: Just a reminder, Adaptive Aquatics meets on Tuesdays. This effects Intermediate & Beginner swimmers. This week, for example, we had 4 lanes with 10-12 swimmers in each for Intermediate. If your schedule allows for a different day, you may want to consider it (not mandatory, the lanes are just a little crowded).
    • Download the Swimtopia app & start playing on it. You can use the free version to sign up for swim meets & volunteering. It also has a push button link to the website Brenham.swimtopia.com (in case you are like me & can never remember it). Meet sign-ups will be opened one at a time. Timed Trial / Mock Meet is currently open so that you can poke around the system. More info to come when we get closer to meets.
    • We still have officiating roles available for those that want to sign up for the classes. The more that are certified, the easier it is on everyone!! Stroke & Turn officials, Computers, Clerk of Course, Starters (if you’ve been SNT for at least 2 years).
    • NEXT WEEK: We will start talking about meets, volunteering, and how to make up the Timed Trial at practice.
    • NEXT WEEK: Sponsorship information.
    • NEXT WEEK: T-shirts will probably be in.
