    Parents,

This team continues to amaze me.  With us finally having our first official meet, we defeated one of the toughest competitors in our division decisively by the largest margin in team history, scoring 846 to 488.  To put it in perspective, last year we one with a score of 726.5 to 632.5, which was our largest margin at that time.  This team continues to get better each year.  Going to these meets not only gives the swimmers a chance to improve their times and gain experience, but they also show the coaches what we need to work on with our swimmers.  I know it was a long day, but thank you all for your hard work and patience with the running of the meet and the support of your kids and the team.  Next up, Huntsville.  They may be small, but they always compete well and have some good-quality swimmers and relays. Huntsville is where our Divisional meet will be held, so it would be a good idea for the swimmers to get a chance to swim in the pool before then. Entries have been open for this meet since Friday, so make sure you sign up by Wednesday evening. In the weeks to come I will start talking more about the invitational meets which is the weekend after Divisionals.
