Message from BBAC

May 4th

We are super excited to have a large Dolphin Team again this year. With a large team and moving into daily practice we want to address a few things.

Just a COUPLE OF REMINDERS:

We do want to make sure that we remind parents that Hallways (benches / chairs) are for use, but we do not want groups gathering in the hallways, sitting on floors, or chairs/benches moved as patrons walk to the therapy pool and in the facility. We need to keep walkways open for all patrons and emergency personal.

We know kids are hungry after school, but we need to be careful as we have had lots of crumbs left on the floors and the ants and rodents are finding their way into the facility. If kids want to snack, we ask that we are careful, pick up anything we drop, and help us take care of the facility. You can also utilize the picnic table in front of the building. We don’t want to enforce a NO food or Drinks allowed in the facility. So please assist us with this issue.

See photo attached: there is NO gum allowed while swimming in the pool.. this is a photo of one day gum dropped in the water. Please have your kids throw gum in the trash before swimming.

The Blue Bell Aquatic Center will be CLOSED on the following days: there will be NO practice these days.
- Thursday, May 18^th – we have ALL Employee Orientation, pools will be CLOSED from 4pm – 8pm
- Friday, May 26^th – we will be closing at 1pm due to last minute prep for Opening Weekend

Lastly, we want to address the locker rooms. We have heard several parent concerns and have discussed with upper management. We are a public facility with Locker rooms for all patrons to use. These locker rooms are equipped with toilets, showers, lockers, and an open changing area. Patrons maybe in the locker areas changing, showering, etc. If you would like more privacy for yourself or your children, please use the stalls in the locker rooms or one of the 3 single unit restrooms (one located by concession stand, and 2 located in the therapy pool area)
